I took a quick peek in the vege garden and to my surprise I found an itsy bitsy teeny weeny cauliflower head.
I've got my fingers crossed that it gets bigger because at the moment it's not even big enough to feed the bugs.

Did you check the tag on the punnet? I think these may be the miniture ones...uno, the baby gourmet variety you can get...
Ah bugga...being a novice vege grower I thought you were trying to trick me - miniature cauliflower, hahaha - then I googled it and to my surprise you can buy them. What's the good of a miniature one???

I wouldnt trick you Judith, veg growing is all about learning, I learn new stuff all the time, ...I think if it was a normal size caulie that the leaves would be enormous, cauliflowers are HUGE PLANTS...see you when I float in this week.........Didnt find a Dora the explorer watch lying around did you last week?
Yes I did find a Dora watch - it's in the lost property box - I'll get it out and put it aside for you.
I checked the tag for the cauliflower this morning and while it didn't say miniature it did suitable for container pots.
Who cares if it is a mini one, you grew it and that's pretty great I say. Oh and bring on the holidays. Fun times ahead.
