Crazy weather

I got up extra early this morning so I could finish "Cleo" before we went off to cricket.  What a great book and now I know why the waiting list to borrow it was so long at the library.   Definitely worth not doing the housework for...

It was a nice morning for cricket...at the beginning...then slowly, slowly, very slowly, the mist came rolling in.

By the time they left to play cricket in the seniors this afternoon it was raining...did I blink and miss summer???

Snow...I've only seen snow once and that was at the end of a season so it wasn't very exciting. We've had such a mild summer here which I don't mind because I'm really not a hot weather person but I know lots of people are missing the heat. I'm sure it will turn up sooner or later.

Yes, summer has gone. I am still slowly making my way through Uncle Fred in the springtime, it is very fabulous and I am really trying to draw it out.

I tried my local library for Uncle Fred but they only had audio of it which was restricted borrowing. I might try down town if you think it's worth a read.
