Sadly for Michael and the rest of his team last Saturday they were beaten in the second elimination final.
The boys played so well and only lost by just one point in the last few minutes of the game. They should be very proud of their efforts as they weren't expected to make the finals at all. This year they had a lot of first year "Senior Colt" players - Michael included.
While I'm sad for them that they didn't win and progress to the next round, I'm looking forward to hanging around at home on Saturday.
Cricket training started last Wednesday so I'll enjoy my Saturday while I can.

We just arrived home from our son's rugby league final ..... and they lost 34 / 32. Awwwww. So many sad faces and they played such a great game. Not to worry, that's just the way it goes. We're looking forward to having some of our weekend back also! cheers Wendy
Awwww Wendy, I know it's only a game but it's still sad for them. Hope the ride home wasn't too bad.
Suzanne wish I could say I took them but I didn't. The club has a great photographer who takes photos every week.
